Autogenics A.K.A. Body Hypnosis
This technique was developed by Johannes Schultz, a neuropsychiatrist, and introduced to the public in the early 1920's; however it can be traced to the 1800's.
I could give you all the medical and clinical terminology but how about I break it down into dominoes. Our body has created habits when we get the first sign of pain, or when we tuck ourselves into bed at night or when our body has to eliminate, and that first sign, there are other symptoms that follow which I will call your dominoes. So when the first domino falls, the rest fall in succession. What Body Hypnosis or Autogenics does is allows you to take control of those dominoes and create a new positive domino effect.
We have control of our mind and our body, meaning we are the drivers of this vehicle but most of us live our lives like a passenger in a runaway train, so this technique allows you to step off the train and become the engineer, the driver of your own body.
